What our members and students say about Monique?

Traci- “Thanks again for the seminars…Every one is always so nice there. Monique was very good at explaining things. Would have loved to worked in the verbal seminar but got good exercises to take home to practice with. A lot of good homework with the contacts seminar too”.

Stephanie- “Monique is WONDERFUL, can’t wait for more. February, sign me up! She is so good at communicating, especially to someone just learning the sport. Her tips for keeping Gardi engaged in the game were exactly what I needed to hear and learn… heck, her positive, clear instruction made me find the fun and stay engaged, too.”

Maryanne- “seminars were great.  She is really good at isolating topics.”

About Monique Plinck:

Monique brings a unique teaching style that incorporates her strong sense of humor with over 20 years of experience as a coach and competitor in the agility world. Her students love her analogies and her real-life experiences that she interweaves with her expert dog training. She firmly believes that training must be fun!

Monique’s extensive knowledge of the sport is unparalleled, having competed in 6 different jump heights with a variety of breeds in 4 separate venues. She has enjoyed competing at the highest international level, representing the USA on 8 different world teams with 2 different dogs, yet she is easily able to identify with competitors at all levels.  Monique loves being a part of the success of the teams she coaches and ensures they set out with brilliantly trained skills as well as the confidence to rely on them. She modifies her instruction to benefit the individuality of each team, and her goal is to create a handler who can confidently analyze a course, to choose and execute their best handling options to the strengths of their team.

Monique is always at the forefront of the rapid evolution of the sport of agility and enjoys bringing new skills and sharing the latest challenges with her students. Monique was selected to be a One Mind Dogs Assistant coach, and her understanding of that methodology perfectly complements and strengthens her own long developed style. Never satisfied to sit still, she constantly continues to advance her training and progress her handling to suit the needs of the current day. Monique Plinck is the owner of Criterion Agility.
