How to become a BCDC Member

REQUIREMENTS

A person may become a prospective member after submission of an application with sponsorship by two (2) BCDC members in good standing.

The process for any subsequent member of an already represented domicile who wishes to become a full member of BCDC is as follows: the individual must first serve the club in some capacity prior to being voted upon. The individual can then be introduced at one meeting and may be voted upon at the next scheduled meeting.

During the prospective membership period you are required to finish four (4) sessions of classes, attend three (3) meetings and complete service to the club equivalent to ten (10) credits towards Member In Good Standing to become eligible to be voted on for full membership, all accumulated within (1) one year.

The Membership Committee will take special situations into consideration.

The Membership Committee will meet periodically to discuss the applications, and then will forward their recommendations to the membership.  Applicants will be notified in writing, in advance of the meeting, if they are not going to be recommended for membership.

Once full membership is granted, the member receives full membership benefits, including reduced training fees.
