The Bayshore Companion Dog Club is an AKC Member Club serving the Monmouth County, New Jersey area.
With two main locations, Tinton Falls and Colts Neck, our club offers two main training programs for our canine companions benefit: Obedience & Pet training, Show Handling and Agility training.
We offer training classes for competitors in the Sports of Obedience, Rally, Breed Show Competition and Agility as well as other K9 sports and we also have a Very Extensive Pet Dog Training Program for dog owners who just want to learn how to better handle their pet.
Our pet dog training program also offers classes leading to the Canine Good Citizen Certificate (CGC), for those who wish to achieve that level.
All of our Obedience, Rally, Show Handling & Pet classes can be found on our Obedience and Pet Class Schedules.
"Dog" or "Canine" Agility is a sport that allows you and your canine companion to have a tremendous amount of fun running an obstacle course for time and accuracy. Agility has quickly become one of the most popular canine performance events and because of this our agility program has grown quite a bit in the last few years.
Agility is a great way to get some exercise with your dog and have fun doing it!
Please see our Agility Schedule for a complete listing of currently offered Agility classes.
With over 150 members in our club, we have experience in many of the other specialty canine events (Breed Show Handling, Herding, Tracking, Nosework, Hunting and Field Events, Earth dog, Therapy Dog, etc.) and offer introductory classes depending on interest level in these events.
Both pure breed dogs & mixed breed dogs are welcome in our classes!
Remember, a trained dog is a better citizen
